Day 21 – Favourite book from your childhood (30 Day Book Challenge #2)

My favourite book from my childhood would have to be something by Roald Dahl (these questions really are getting repetitive aren’t they? Because the answers sure are…I might be changing more questions as I go).

James and the Giant PeachTo keep this short and sweet, I think I’m actually picking the same book I chose 2 years ago when I did this (I can’t be bothered to go and check so I’ll just assume), which is James And The Giant Peach. Why? Well…to be honest with you, because James is my middle name and when you’re a kid you like things for ridiculous reasons like that. I definitely didn’t like peaches when I was that young (though I don’t mind them now), and while the story was good and highly imaginative I think in hindsight some of Dahl’s other books may have been better. But as a kid, I’m pretty sure that one was my favourite, so there you go.

What was your favourite book from your childhood? Why was it your favourite, or do you not really remember?
